Do you recycle mattresses or just throw them away?
We recycle. California's Bye Bye Mattress program turns old mattresses into new products. Foam goes into carpet padding, fiber into insulation, springs into scrap metal. About 75 percent of every mattress gets reused. We participate as a registered hauler.
How much does mattress removal cost in San Diego?
Single mattress pickup typically runs around $79 to $99 depending on size and access. Box springs are the same range. Pair them together and the price often comes down. We quote up front so there are no surprises.
Can you remove the mattress today?
Usually yes. If you call before 2 PM we offer same-day pickup across most of San Diego County. After 2 PM we schedule next morning. No waiting a week.
Do I need to take it to the curb?
No. We carry it out from wherever it sits. Bedroom, garage, basement, second floor - we handle it. Stairs may add a small surcharge for very large mattresses but we always quote up front.
Do you take stained or used mattresses?
Yes. Condition does not matter for recycling. Even mattresses that cannot be donated still get recycled through Bye Bye Mattress. Same price either way.
